About this
topic

The paediatric upper limb in cerebral palsy presents a clinical problem with no single right answer — spasticity affects function in ways that vary patient to patient, and the choice between non-surgical, neuromodulatory, and surgical interventions is rarely straightforward.

The Day 2 cerebral palsy session opens with Dr Praveen Bhardwaj on the spectrum of surgical and non-surgical approaches to spasticity, followed by Dr Chasanal on the strategic use of botulinum toxin. The session closes with Dr Terrence Jerome on hyperselective neurectomy — the most recent and most technically demanding addition to the surgical armamentarium.
